  • Before you start cooking rinse 2 Cups of Basmati rice until water turns clear. Drain the water and do not soak it again. The moisture is sufficient for the rice to absorb and does not need additional water like regular white rice.
  • Heat the Pressure Pan and add clove, cinnamon stick, cardamom. Stir for 30 seconds and then add sliced onions.
  • Add onions and saute it until it is nice and brown. It would take 5 to 6 minutes.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and saute till it looses the raw smell.
  • Add green chillies, then add washed 400 grams mushrooms saute for 7 to 8 Minutes.
  • Once mushroom are half cooked and has shrunk a little, Add 3 glass of water. Wait until water start to boiling.
  • Add basmati rice and Coriander leaves and close the cooker and cook for 1 whistle in high flame
