Delicious spicy paneer 65 fry is a popular starter in India for Vegetarians. It tastes yummy with simple ingredients. This recipe goes well with fried rice or Mushroom Pulao.

You can make this recipe by cutting the panner into cubes or as fingers.

  • I washed the paneer and cut into cubes.
  • In a bowl add (coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, garam masala powder, Kashmiri Chilli powder, salt) Note if you want to add ginger garlic paste and lemon juice you can add at this stage)
  • Add corn flour and add some water and make as paste.
  • The paste should be thick enough to coat the paneer cubes. Make sure it is not too watery.
  • Add Paneer Cubes / Cottage Cheese.
  • Mix it well in the paste and marinate the paneer cubes for 20 to 30 minutes in the Fridge.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add paneer cubes. Fry until one side turns golden and flip to other side using a fork or spoon which ever your comfortable with.
  • Fry until golden and crisp.
  • Spiced and Yummy paneer 65 is ready to serve a with tomato sauce. Happy Cooking!!!


Prefer to use fork to flip the paneer 65.

While frying paneer, if it get stuck to each not use fork or spoon to separate. once it is well cooked, it can easily be separate..

if you want, you can sprinkle pepper powder or chat masala on top of the paneer cubes for better taste.
