Mango Ice Cream with 3 Ingredients

Delightful and super creamy easy homemade mango ice cream recipe with simple 3 ingredients.

This will be my 3rd Ice Cream in the last 3 weeks. When everyone is home during the lockdown and it is summer, give some treat to yourselves with Ice Creams.

I have made Vanilla & Strawberry Ice Creams a week back and everyone in home loved it. Also, I received good comments, encouraging me to make this 3rd Ice Creams with mangos.

I have used Kesar Mangoes for this recipe, you may use any mango of your choice. My recommendation will be Kesar or Alphonso Mangos as these are the sweetest ones of all Mangoes.

  • Wash the mangoes and cut into cubes and then add into blender and make it into a fine puree without adding water. I have taken 1 Whole mango.
  • To the large bowl add the Chilled double cream.
  • Use a hand mixer or hand whisker. Whisk the cream in slow speed
  • It usually takes about 4 to 5 minutes in Hand Mixer to turn cream to a foam. Whisk until you get a steep hill foam as shown in the picture.
  • Now You will be able to see the Foam hill structure in the bowl as well.
  • Add Icing sugar(powdered sugar) / Condensed milk to the cream. Whisk for about 30 seconds.
  • Add the blended Mango puree to the mixture. Note: At this stage, if you want you can add vanilla essence or mango essence of your choice.
  • Blend the whole mix, until you get the steep hill structure in the hand mixer.
  • Do not overrun the Mixer over past this stage. NOTE: Your Ice Cream will be rock hard if you overrun the hand mixer past this stage.
  • Transfer the soft mixture to a bread tin (Loaf tin) / Box. Note: You can use an airtight container.
  • Cover it with a lid or foil and freeze overnight or at least 3 to 4 hours.
  • Wow, our creamy, soft yummy mango Ice Cream is ready. You may garnish with dry fruits or fresh fruits of your choice. Happy Cooking!!!

you can use any mango of your choice. Sweeter the mango, reduce the quantity of sugar as per your required taste.

  1. Wow mango is one of my favorite fruits, I’m going to try this! Great tip about not overmixing I’ve made that mistake before and it was more like popsicles than ice cream!
