  • I have used salmon fish without skin. I have peeled the skin, washed and cut them into cubes.
  • Heat the oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds.
  • Add sliced ginger and garlic (if you have curry leaves add at this stage 1 or 2 sprigs) saute well.
  • Add the onions and cook until the onion until it turns into golden brown.(Cover and coop to speedup the cooking time)
  • Add the chopped tomatoes and cook in high flame for a minute. Then reduce to medium and cook until it is soft.
  • Reduce the heat to low, add sambar chilli powder and coriander powder, turmeric powder and mix for 20 seconds
  • When it starts boiling, drop the fish pieces and add salt to taste. Add some water and cover with lid and cook for 15 minutes in medium to low flame until the fish is cooked.

You may use any other fish as well if you couldn't get Salmon.
