Cheese and Tomato 2 in 1 Chicken Macaroni

Macaroni is one of the dishes that can be made quickly and kids would simply love them with any ingredients.

In this recipe, we are going to cook Cheese and Tomato Chicken Macaron is in simple method. The reason for me to name this as 2 in 1 is because we are going to cook 2 dishes 1 recipe.

In this recipe, I have used the cream for cheese Macaroni to get it a rich taste and keeps Macaroni moisture.

    Marinating Chicken
  • Clean the chicken and cut it into small cubes. Add Red Chilli powder and Soy sauce to chicken.
  • Add salt and mix it well. Let it marinate for 20 minutes.
  • Preparing Macaroni
  • To a Sauce Pan add water and bring it to boil. Then add Salt and Olive Oil.
  • Add Macaroni and cook for about 10 minutes, until the Macaroni is completely cooked. Once cooked, add the Macaroni to a large strainer.
  • Run cold water until the Macaroni is completed cooled. This will help Macaroni from overcooking. Leave the Macaroni in the strainer.
  • Cheese Macaroni
  • To a Sauce Pan, add a tablespoon butter. Then add chicken cubes and cook it well. Once cooked remove it from the Pan, to a bowl/plate.
  • To the same Pan add Onions and saute it for about a minute and add to the cooked chicken.
  • To a Sauce Pan, add a tablespoon butter, Garlic and Green chillies. Saute it for a minute.
  • Add the cooked Chicken & Onions.
  • Add salt and Macaroni. Saute the whole mixture for a minute in low medium flame.
  • Cheese Macaroni
  • Divide this mixture into 2 portions. we are going to use one for Cheese and another for Tomato Macaroni. Remove one portion from Pan to a Plate. Add Cream to the Macroni in the Pan and saute for 30 seconds.
  • Add Cheese and Oregano.
  • Cover with Lid and cook for 1 to 2 minutes in low flame until the cheese fully melted. Add Chilli Flakes before serving
  • Tomato Macaroni
  • To a Saucepan add the other portion of Macaroni. Add Loyd Grossman Tomato & Chilli Sauce or Tomato ketchup and cook for 2 minutes. You may add Coriander to garnish the Tomato Macaroni.
  • Our Cheese and Tomato 2 in 1 Macaroni is ready to serve piping hot. Happy Cooking!!!

Notes

You may use tomato ketchup or tomato puree with Oregano, instead of Loyd Grossman Tomato & Chilli Sauce / Basil Sauce.

Just be cautious that tomato ketchup will be sweet.

  2. This looks really interesting and different from what I have eaten. I usually use a cayenne pepper in my Mac & Cheese although the Chili Flakes seem like a suitable trade.
